1.Mother

animal sources. Then the extract mixed with certain amount of alcohol to
preserve. After some days alcohol and extract mixture passes through
filtration,in this way a mother tincture is produced.
But a
potency Medicine is produced from a mother tincture.A small amount of Moher
tincture is need for produce a potency medicine.a small amount of mother tincture diluted with
alcohol and distilled water then make a potency.
2.In mother
tincture medicinal property is higher than a potentised medicine.
3.Mother
Tincture is mostly used for palliation of symptoms in case of acute disease.it
acts like allopathic medicine and it starts its action very quick rather than a
potentised medicine. Now a days many homoeopath uses mother tincture for their
treatment purpose.
In case of
potentised medicine ,Higher the potency means it contains lower the medicinal
property. It acts in our body in dynamic level. It is used for cure the Acute
disease as well as chronic diseases.
4. Three types (scales) of potentisation are in practice viz.,
Decimal scale(1x to 30x), Centecimal scale (1 to MM) & Fifty millecimal (LM
potency)(0/1 to 0/30). In case of Mother Tincture no such type of scale used
for preparation.
5.All Mother tinctures are prepared for
preparation of potentised Homoeopathic medicine.
